Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Fargo office. The Legal Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative support to attorneys and paralegals across a variety of legal practice areas. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient operation of the Fargo office, contributing to high-quality client service, document management, and workflow organization.

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and is located onsite in our Fargo office.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and paralegals
  • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Maintain and organize client and case files (electronic and physical)
  • Communicate with clients and external contacts professionally and confidentially
  • Assist with time entry, billing, and expense reporting
  • Coordinate with other departments to support workflow and case management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of firm policies and procedures
  • Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Prior experience as a legal administrative assistant (required)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 2010 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
