GENERAL SUMMARY
The Safety Coordinator works to ensure all team members can complete their work safely. This role ensures safety programs and policies are implemented and guides team members to help them understand and follow the programs and policies. The Safety Coordinator will conduct safety observations, investigate incidents, analyze safety risks, coordinate training, and maintain documentation and perform other actions needed to keep the workforce safe. The Safety Coordinator will also work with Human Resources for new team member onboarding and injury investigations as needed. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

WORKING CONDITIONS Normal manufacturing and office environment. When working occasionally in some shop areas, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be recommended and/or required (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protection, face shield, gloves, apron and boots). Must have the ability to support extended business hours to meet customer business needs.
