Short Intro and About the Job

The Specification Management team is responsible for all Ingredients and Packaging coming from multiple suppliers. Your mission is to ensure product compliance with the functional, quality & food safety and regulatory requirements. You will validate each material through internal stakeholder of Product Development, Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory as well as signed off by the suppliers. You will be knowledgeable in the Artemis, ETQ, Orsoft, and Optiva environments.

The Specifications Administrator reports to the Senior Manager, Specs & Systems Team.

Your Responsibilities
* Ensure new and existing ingredient specifications comply with functional, quality & food safety and regulatory requirements and are approved within expected time lines
* Align internal stakeholders with specification management approval process

* Administer specification upgrading process: functional specification, new regulatory global requirements, safety risks anticipation.
* Contribute to improving processes and ways of working within specification management internally and externally.
* Initiate system review and updates within ETQ, Artemis, Optiva and Orsoft
* Support special projects within the Specification Team
* Guide team system standards and communicate process alignment

* Provide business analysis and cross-functional expertise
* Follow established data create/change procedures and standards
* Develop procedures and standards as required
* Perform all other duties as assigned

*Travel as needed to support training, testing, and other activities related to job duties (10 - 15%)

The base compensation range for this position is $60,000-90,000 commensurate with experience. About You

You have up to 3 years of experience in quality or product development in the food industry. You have a Packaging/Food Science/Food Safety degree and you are comfortable working in an international and dynamic organization with various functional disciplines at several locations.

In addition, you
* Bring expertise on ingredient functionality, quality & food safety and/or regulation and experience in Dairy processing is a huge advantage.
* Have the ability to network inside and outside the organization;
* Have excellent communication and presentation skills;
* Are business result driven and has following competencies: analytical, accurate and persuasive;
* Have a high degree of initiative and ownership,
* Have strong attention to details
* Have the ability to prioritize workload effectively and enthusiasm to independently.
* Have the ability and commitment to see projects through to completion
* Have the ability to multi-task and manage workload in a dynamic environment
* Are an outstanding team player.
