About the Role

Culmen International is looking for a Sr Nuclear Stockpile Accountability Data Manager to support a nuclear weapons program with DTRA at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.



What You'll Do in Your New Role

As the Nuclear Stockpile Data Manager, you will play a vital role in providing both administrative and technical support for the NE-NL Nuclear Operations Division within the Stockpile Operations Branch (NE-NLOS).

Your responsibilities will encompass the following:

    Collaborating with the DTRA Accountability Chief to effectively manage and oversee the Department of Defense (DoD) nuclear stockpile on a daily basis.
  • Contributing to the development and execution of exercises to enhance operational readiness.
  • Reviewing, validating, and assessing nuclear weapons accountability policies and procedures, as well as accountability applications, while assisting in the identification and coordination of any necessary adjustments or improvements.
  • Maintaining, updating, and correcting nuclear accountability data to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
  • Monitoring inventory compliance within the nuclear weapons stockpile to uphold standards.
  • Supporting the coordination of nuclear weapon shipments, including the creation and approval of Material Transfer Orders (MTOs) and Movement Tracking Numbers (MTNs), along with the approval of Nuclear Ordnance Shipping Schedules.
  • Assisting in the oversight of moves associated with the New Material and Stockpile Evaluation Schedule (NMSES) and reviewing the annual schedule for distribution to Logistics Agents.
  • Generating availability messages to facilitate the strategic planning of weapon movements.
  • Gathering pertinent references and information from the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Defense Integration and Management of Nuclear Data Services (DIAMONDS) to aid in the preparation of Annual Lab and Flight Test Selection memoranda.
  • Developing comprehensive background materials, briefings, talking points, after-action reports, and drafting requests and summaries.
  • Engaging in meetings and providing organizational support to ensure their successful execution.
  • Assisting in the planning, organization, documentation, and support of workshops, exercises, training sessions, conferences (excluding the collection of conference fees), and meetings.
  • Being prepared to independently provide backup support for Department Stockpile Managers as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of demonstrated experience AND high school diploma

OR

  • 6+ years of demonstrated experience AND a BA/BS degree.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and task driven.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to function independently.
  • Experienced with Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Top Secret clearance
