RAPP Chicago is looking for a Freelance - VP, Strategy Enablement to join our award-winning Experience Strategy team.

YOUR ROLE

The VP, Strategy Enablement serves as a leader in capabilities and solutions for our clients. They are responsible for understanding client business needs, competitive marketplace solutions, and gaps in current offerings, in order to outline business and functional requirements and ultimately the high-level architecture of solutions which will help our clients meet and exceed their business goals.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Capability Strategy and Leadership



  • Accountable for ensuring product and capability offerings are effective in meeting client and agency business goals
  • Responsible for collaborating on product roadmap and strategy for existing products


Education and Innovation



  • Responsible for promoting product innovation and building confidence in RAPP capability leadership with client and agency teams
  • Responsible for developing capability understanding / competency within internal teams


Capability Management



  • Partner with Account, Strategy and UX teams to outline products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users
  • Manage team of BAs who conduct current state assessments, map system and data process flows, assess feasibility and gaps, and build use cases
  • Manage team of Managers who work with Enablement and Platform teams to translate business needs into functional requirements and use cases and prioritize in sprint backlogs


REQUIREMENTS



  • 10+ years of marketing experience; 4+ years' experience leading a team
  • Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.
  • Ideal candidate has strong digital agency credentials and ability to lead/inspire clients and teams
  • Ideal candidate has experience and industry certifications in Agile and Scrum product development methodologies
  • Experience of delivering on product roadmaps within a client service organization
  • Able to demonstrate solutions consultancy skills
  • Evidence of forming and managing product and solutions teams
  • Ability to build partnerships and working collaboratively with internal and cross-agency teams to meet shared objectives for the clients
  • Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
  • Deep digital marketing experience including but not limited to:

    • Digital advertising and integrated campaigns
    • CRM
    • CMS
    • Mobile
    • Web application development
    • SMS


  • Able to demonstrate interest in/active research of emerging capabilities and ability to translate these into client marketing opportunities
  • Evidence of delivering innovative solutions, working with creative and other business teams
  • Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Ability to create new and better ways for the agency to be successful
  • Ability to actively learn through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder.
  • Ability to rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations
  • Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
