We are seeking a Director of Enterprise Architecture to lead an expert team of pre-sellers in our Consumer Business Services operating unit. The Director will work closely with sales leadership to understand their account mix and sales opportunities in order to align the Architecture team to the region's top sales priorities. As a "player-coach" you will lead a team of architects and work directly with customer business and technology leaders to ensure alignment between IT strategy and business goals. The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership capabilities to drive transformation and with sales acumen and technical credibility.

Your Responsibilities

The Enterprise Architecture Director will:

* Strategically partner with Sales Leadership to drive scale, innovate, and deliver exceptional quarterly and annual growth across multiple sales teams.
* Build a high-performing team of Solutions Sellers by creating a collaborative and supportive culture where the team drives innovation and delivers the best work in their careers.
* Be a player-coach, actively working with their team members to solve difficult problems, and coordinate corporate/external resources when required.
* Be an evangelist to various internal stakeholders and evolve impactful motions and strategies to enable a team selling environment. With external customers, the Director will strive to build relationships with IT and Business executives.
* Manage large and medium scale projects/initiatives requiring complex cross-functional collaboration.
* Bring an "intrapreneurial" mindset with ideas to drive business with internal partners, holding yourself and team accountable to growth and success outcomes.
* Hire inclusively, nurture talent, and invest in ongoing employee development & career progression.

Required Skills

* Proficient with CRM and AI technologies (and other Enterprise business applications) and be able to present to an executive audience of both business and technology leaders.
* Extensive pre-sales experience is required.
* Experience in Business, Enterprise, and Technical Architecture concepts, methodologies, and execution.
* Strong Enterprise transformation experience including Business-IT alignment and establishing operating models for implementation success.
* The Director must be able to support the Sales team by providing guidance on sales strategies, approaches to solve specific problems, as well as advocate throughout Salesforce, needs of the field captured by their team.
* Strong verbal and written communications skills with a focus on needs analysis, positioning, and business justification. The Director should be able to communicate equally with internal resources such as Product Marketing and Sales Management and Customers to gain commitment and support.
* Flexibility and adaptability is paramount.

Desired Skills:

* Prior pre-sales management experience is highly desirable.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $231,000 to $309,050. For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $210,070 to $280,980. For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $231,000 to $309,050. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $231,000 to $309,050. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $231,000 to $309,050.
