PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $84,300.00-$103,000.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $65,700.00 - $121,700.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. As a Supervisor of Card Services Operations at BECU, you'll empower your team to perform at their best while ensuring every operational process delivers value to our members. Your leadership will directly influence how efficiently and effectively we serve, streamline processes, and uphold quality and compliance standards. You'll be the driving force behind process improvements and a supportive mentor guiding your team's growth. To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to reside in the state of Washington. If you're located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead Team Operations: Oversee daily operations within Card Services and workflow to ensure your team consistently meets production goals with accuracy and care.
  • Elevate Team Potential: Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentoring to develop talent, strengthen performance, and support individual growth journeys.
  • Champion Process Improvement: Collaborate cross-functionally to identify system enhancements and process efficiencies that elevate the member experience and operational excellence.
  • Serve as a Knowledge Leader: Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point-sharing expertise, solving problems, and promoting best practices in every interaction.
  • Ensure Regulatory Excellence: Monitor compliance with federal, state, and internal policies, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain audit-ready practices.
  • Support Audits & Records: Respond to audit inquiries with precision and maintain department records in full compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Act on Member Feedback: Use data from member satisfaction and loyalty surveys to identify improvement areas, address concerns, and champion member-first solutions.
  • Uphold Accurate Reporting: Maintain statistical data and audit reports that help track performance, uncover trends, and guide strategic decisions.
  • Document for Success: Ensure all processes have clear, updated documentation to support consistent execution and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage Departmental Archives: Supervise the archiving and retention of files in alignment with compliance policies and best practices.
  • Support Where Needed: Step in as a backup when your team needs you-because you're part of the success story too.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically requires at least 3 years of experience in operations and/or processing functions
  • Typically requires at least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field
  • Experience in a financial services or credit union environment
  • Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to analyze issues and solve problems effectively
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulatory compliance in operations
  • Background in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Comfort using performance data to drive decisions and improvements
