Position Title: Private Banking Team Leader 2
Business Unit: Private Banking
Reports To: Managing Director of Private Banking

Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for leading a team of private banking officers and support associates engaged in marketing private banking services to business owners and executives, professionals and Centers of Influence (COI) within their assigned region. The incumbent also personally manages private banking client relationships and supports their staff in achieving a high level of client satisfaction and developing banking, wealth and insurance cross sell opportunities. The incumbent focuses on coaching and development of sales skills, underwriting and advisory competencies.

Primary Responsibilities:
Acts as primary group leader for a specified number of Private Bankers and support associates, administers goals, develops private banking talent and skills and assists in customer calls and account servicing. Oversees and develops strategies for business development with Private Banking direct reports and provides regular informal and formal performance feedback.

Markets Private Banking to new prospective clients and their advisors and maintains and develops existing private banking relationships, provides quality service and advice and cross sells products and services including deposits, loans, wealth and insurance services. Ensures regular client communication to optimize relationship opportunities.

Constructively interacts with other lines of business partners across a wide range of functional areas to provide a consistently outstanding service level with respect to new loan processing, underwriting and closing, deposit account servicing and expansion, wealth management and insurance relationship development for both personally serviced relationships and those of their staff.

Analyzes and evaluates personal financial statements, tax returns, credit bureau reports, appraisals and other credit-related documentation in support of gaining approval for mortgage and consumer loan requests. Periodically develops cash flow schedules and provides other credit memoranda in support of loan requests. Reviews all related legal documentation and handles client negotiation.

Assists the Group Manager of Private Banking in development of new products and services as well as modifications to existing offerings, implements changes to policies, guidelines and procedures as needed and supports other group administrative functions such as portfolio oversight and project management.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Education:
BA or BS
