Systems Analyst, Information Systems, Full Time, Day

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under direction of Information Systems Management, is responsible for various projects and support of software applications. These staff members will be responsible for analyzing software applications to ensure they fit the needs of the business. This staff will also be responsible for coordinating the project timelines throughout its life cycle.

Scheduling Applications Support: Experience working with system configuration, workflows, analysis, and system interfaces. Background working in Scheduling applications, Athena communicator/coordinator, Meditech CWS/ARM. Meditech and/or Athena experience a bonus.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field of study, or relevant equivalent work related education/experience required. Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience working with information systems applications. Experience in conducting problem analysis, problem management, requirements gathering, feasibility studies, system design and implementation. Working knowledge of healthcare enterprise preferred. 2 to 3 years experience preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Working knowledge of hospital operation preferred.
