Job Summary |
The College of Human Sciences is hiring a
TES Research Assistant to support the Child Sleep, Health, & Development Lab. This role involves scheduling research participants over the phone and through email, organizing research materials, conducting research participant sessions, working with undergraduate researchers, data entry, and various administrative duties. We are currently collecting data for a longitudinal research project funded by the National Institutes of Health (awarded to Dr. Mona El-Sheikh). The typical work schedule would be Mon - Fri 9-5 with flexibility if participants need to come in on a weekend day.

Essential Functions |
- Assists in the development of project proposals, plans and protocols.
- Conducts routine or fundamental experiments, investigations and/or studies related to programs and projects in pursuit of new knowledge, techniques and concepts.
- Assists with logistical considerations to include equipment, materials, and labor needs.
- Collects data/samples related to others' research and in routine cases.
- Records, compiles, processes and analyzes data/samples. * Documents results and observations in writing as well as presenting results to others.
- May assist in the preparation of research results for publication or presentation at conferences to include assisting in literature reviews and assisting in the writing of results and discussions.
- May instruct students and/or supervise others' research in area of expertise.

Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor of Science degree (preferably in
HDFS, Psychology or related field). |
