Warehouse Technician for Florida Public Utilities
On-site | Location: West Palm Beach, FL

What you'll be working on...



  • Maintain stock levels and keep track of inventory and non-inventory items.
  • Issue and keep track of materials requested / provided to internal team and external contractors in an accurate and effective manner.
  • Identify material needs and coordinate with supervisor to place orders from suppliers / vendors in a timely fashion.
  • Palletize and organize out-bound meters and coordinate shipping to the team's testing vendor.
  • Receive and load inbound and out bound materials to / from trucks.
  • Load, offload, and transport items to and from our alternate warehouse site. (Forklift, pallet jack, hand-truck, etc.)
  • Cross-check and validate packing slips with delivered items and organize them and match with associated invoices and assist with Monthly Accrual Reporting.
  • Enter and process inventory related items for payment and issuance via the inventory database.
  • Process non-inventory invoices via Doc-Link system.
  • Prepare for and coordinate on Quarterly and Annual Inventory Audits.
  • Count and report number of regulators being disposed / retired.
  • Maintain our inside and outside materials and tools in a safe and organized fashion.
  • Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measurements of incoming and outgoing shipments and verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records on proprietary software.
  • Strong skills and experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork for materials received.
  • Verify order accuracy and process return shipments.
  • Operate dolly and/or pallet jack in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; operate shrink-wrap machine; operate company fleet vehicles to deliver shipments; assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area; lock and secure various company facilities.
  • Maintain inventory items appropriately to keep company facilities well organized and prepared for quarterly inventory.
  • Ability and strong desire to work as a member of a team with customers and vendors.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Operations Supervisor.


    Who you are...



    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Must have a valid Florida driver's license and be capable of driving Company vehicles.
    • Must be willing to participate in Company training programs.
    • Must be capable and willing to obtain certification to render first aid, artificial resuscitation, etc.
    • Must possess good written and oral communication skills.
    • Must possess tact and suitable personality for customer and employee contact.
    • Must be capable of operating forklift.
