Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Scrum Master to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will support Peraton's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) program focused on delivering comprehensive Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for a large-scale, complex biometric IT systems. This individualwill be responsible for facilitating and ensuring process standardization of all Scrum events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional results through effective leadership and collaboration.

This is a 100% Remote role.

Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:

    Facilitates and leads the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) effort by conveying the agile vision to a Kanban delivery team.
  • Outlining and prioritizing work based on program initiatives and business value.
  • Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
  • Educate the team on best practices and tools.
  • Serve as liaisons between the product owner, O&M team, cross functional teams, and management to ensure all targets and requirements are met.
  • Ensure process standardization of all Scrum events to include but not limited to: Sprint Planning Meetings, Daily Stand-up Meetings, Reviews and Retrospectives.
  • Maintain product backlog and facilitate productivity by removing impediments, resolving conflicts, and constantly seeking efficient and effective process improvement.
  • Preserves flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters within the program to share knowledge and best practices.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • HS diploma/equivalent and 6 years experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.
  • Experienced Scrum Master with in-depth knowledge of delivering projects/tasks to the Customer.
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
  • ServiceNow and/or JIRA Ticketing systems experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • AWS certifications.
  • Experience with creating dashboards and/or metrics with Jira/Confluence.
  • AWS or AWS GovCloud & native AWS administrative tools and dashboards.
  • Cloud Systems Administration experience.
  • Biometrics.
  • AWS GovCloud (AWS Console).
  • RHEL, Windows, Openshift/Kubernetes & other open-source technologies.
  • Ansible and Docker containers.
  • Aurora AWS (PostgreSQL) database.
  • Gitlab and Jenkins pipeline.
  • CyberArk.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
