Requisition ID req33319 Working Title Administrative Assistant 2 Position Grade 07 Position Summary The Preventive Medicine Section, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a flexible, outgoing, professional individual with excellent computer and communication skills to support the Preventive Medicine Residency Program. The Administrative Assistant 2, reporting directly to our Program Manager, will help support faculty, residents, medical students, and staff. This dynamic role involves customer service tasks such as responding to information requests, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, coordinating activities and travel arrangements, purchasing supplies and materials, attending meetings, preparing minutes, assisting with the UNM HEaRT Program; and assisting with other projects as determined by the needs of the department's management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clear and concise communication skills to establish and maintain positive working relationships with various stakeholders. The hired individual will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with no weekends scheduled. This position is eligible for remote work after probation. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
