Pay Range - $40k to $55k per year (Actual base pay based on factors such as relevant experience, education, market, qualifications, and skills)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Maintenance Specialist 2 acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. They perform a range of Maintenance duties in the building and plant. They support the facility team on projects to include but not limited to, mechanical, hydraulic, electric, and electronic devices. These assignments are performed under close supervision of the facility's supervisor/manager and normally follow established procedures on routine work and requires instructions only on new assignments. The Maintenance Specialist 2 works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. They may work with outside vendors and will be closely involved in P5S activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This job is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of the coolant system, including incoming and outgoing flow rates. This involves tasks like checking coolant concentration, operating and cleaning filter presses, cleaning out the coolant sumps, and maintaining the inventory of coolant and other materials needed for smooth operation. Also, monitors clean and dirty tank levels and monitors filter press functionality. This includes but is not limited to: 1. Daily Maintenance and Monitoring: * Checking Coolant Concentration: Ensuring the correct mixture of coolant and water to prevent corrosion to the machines and fungus in the system. * Tank Level Monitoring: Maintaining the appropriate coolant level in the central tank to prevent malfunctions.

1. Reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor, may take direction from production management and/or Maintenance mechanic.
2. Troubleshoots all process and facilities related equipment regarding electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems.
3. Assists with all monthly maintenance for all production and facilities equipment when requested.
4. Maintains all office and administrative maintenance requests in SAP and Outlook.
5. Performs 5S activities as required daily, weekly, and monthly.
6. Works in cooperation with other Managers, Engineers, and departmental supervisors on ensuring all equipment is maintained and operational.
7. Reports any safety problem immediately.
8. Willingness and open to learn new tasks.
9. Willing to work on a variety of machines or lines.
10. All other duties as assigned.
