Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales performance and sales personnel within a defined geographic region. This role plays a dual function: directly managing Project Managers and/or Estimators to ensure effective execution of projects and proposals, while also driving regional sales strategies, customer relationships, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who can effectively bridge technical project oversight with high-impact sales execution.

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for understanding the companies' capabilities, technologies, and services.
  • Participates in the creation and drives the utilization of a sales plan that profitably grows sales.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expand our market presence within the MN and Midwest areas.
  • Responsible for achieving sales targets through strategic engagement with OEMs-particularly in industries such as medical devices, healthcare equipment, and related high-tech manufacturing sectors.
  • Responsible for identifying and delivering market share captured based on customer needs and identifying capabilities.
  • Responsible for recommending improvements that deliver improved outcomes for both the customer and the company.
  • Responsible for utilizing a sales framework, processing, and supporting tools that deliver desired sales goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for owning key customer relationships, ensuring appropriate level of executive awareness is focused on greatest revenue generators.
  • Facilitate collaboration between sales, estimating, and project delivery teams.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales or other related degree/field required.
  • 5-8 years B2B experience required.
  • 5-8 years technical sales experience working with measurements required.
  • 5-8 years' experience working in sales making outbound phone calls.
  • 5-8 years' experience using a CRM and sales order entry software required. Salesforce experience preferred.

Work Hours/Travel:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and proper insurance coverage for required travel.
  • Local travel (30%)
  • Out of area and overnight travel (up to 10%)
  • 1st shift work schedule, Monday through Friday
  • Flexible scheduling in agreement with supervisor
