Hollywood, CA; Hybrid minimum of 2 days onsite, Tuesday required, and the second day in the week varies, if we don't assign a specific day then they can choose the day

Hours: 9am to 6pm pacific

Prior entertainment experience is preferred but not necessarily required, we care more about the quality and variety in their experience vs prior industry

What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource?

They will review contracts that are assigned to them, generate writer/director contracts for those episodes in their series assigned, draft payment schedules for talent, draft option notices, work on writer's guild reports, sending out start paperwork, collaborating with departments such as labor and business affairs and finance to gather information needed to complete assigned tasks. This is a fast paced environment and they will be responsible for working on several different projects at a time that require a high attention to detail, and may encompass high budgets.

What are the TOP Critical Skills or Must Haves skills a candidate should have on their resume in order to be considered?

* At least 3 years of relevant experience in business and legal affairs, production payroll and/or contract administration at a major studio or agency

* Ability to read and understand contracts and terms of payment

* Ability to work effectively and communicate with multiple internal and external groups

* Knowledge of Microsoft 360 - Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

* Ability to effectively interact with a range of personalities and styles to establish and maintain relationships with various departments

* Excellent attention to detail and highly organized

* Ability to work well under pressure with many changing deadlines/strong time management skills

* Be a proactive contributor who can work both independently and collaboratively to balance multiple priorities at a time

* Have phenomenal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have:

Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

Job Title - Contract Administrator

Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, organized, proactive and curious individual to join our Contract Administration team. The Administrator will work closely with various departments including Legal, Business Affairs, Production, Casting, Labor Relations, Current, and Creative to administer the contractual obligations of all above-the-line talent. The candidate is eager to learn and understands the importance of miniscule details.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

* Disseminates all start paperwork

* Generates on all assigned series -

o A-T-L payment schedules

o Episodic writer & director agreements

o Option pick up & start date notices

o Notices of Tentative Writing Credits

* Creates and maintains show files and informational charts for all assigned series

Basic Qualifications:

* At least 3 years of relevant experience in business and legal affairs, production payroll and/or contract administration at a major studio or agency

* Ability to read and understand contracts and terms of payment

* Ability to work effectively and communicate with multiple internal and external groups

* Knowledge of Microsoft 360 - Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook #ZR
