ABOUT THE JOB:

The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for managing aspects of Corporate Treasury function, including cash management, debt administration, bank account administration, insurance captive, capital lease financing, analysis and other related projects, including mergers and acquisitions. They develop and maintain cash flow models and forecasts, and monitor and manage interest rate, currency, and credit risks. They are also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with banking and other partners such as rating agencies. This role will report to the Director of Treasury and work closely with the Treasury Manager. Candidate will be expected to work jointly with other corporate departments and external partners on cross-functional projects and requests to support company-wide initiatives and support executive management. Critical skills required for this role include organizational, interpersonal, analytical and lateral thinking as well as flexibility to shifting priorities.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

A successful candidate should possess the ability to:



  • Support all aspects of cash operations including administration of funds, bank account management, initiating/monitoring transactions and cash positions, consolidation of cash across decentralized accounts.
  • Support all aspects of cash forecasting including intradepartmental collaboration and utilization of banking platform automation to support executive management decision making.Provides variance explanations and advises management on potential risks and opportunities.
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls regarding cash movement and corporate borrowings.
  • Manage captive cash and investments, ensuring compliance with corporate investment policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Support monthly debt reporting for g/l team, management and compliance purposes.Provide analysis of activity.
  • Support capital market activities through analysis and execution of corporate priorities with external banking and legal partners, including debt offerings/refinancings.
  • Manage execution of quarterly dividend process with internal and external partners.
  • Manage the annual fleet appraisal process.
  • Support M&A efforts including activities critical to close, bank relationships and post-close integration
  • Support liquidity management through management of debt facilities
  • Assist with other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

4-5 years in Finance, Banking, and/or Accounting, with a strong background in Treasury. Designation as a CTP, CPA, or CFA isa plus.

B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

EXPERIENCE:

Strong planning, organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, analytical, and lateral thinking skills.

Excellent oral planning, organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, analytical, and lateral thinking skills. and written communication skills, along with the ability to communicate and negotiate with a variety of internal and external partners.

Experience with cash forecasting, explaining variances and reconciling transactions.

Knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and risk management concepts.

Teamwork, collaboration, and adaptability skills are essential for success in this position as this role will work both independently, and as part of a team.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of financial statements and financial statement analysis, including an ability to analyze cash flow and the impact on the financial statements.

Knowledge of global bank services, products and software platforms

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Hybrid work environment with at least 2 days in the office per week

Periodic travel to WS Corporate Office in Phoenix and potentially to banking/other partner locations
