GENERAL FUNCTION: Oversee the daily performance of The Asset Based Lending group housed within the Commercial Specialty Product Groups. Ensure collaboration between the Region and National Lines of Business in execution of the various product solutions in developing and maintaining client relationships. Focus on career development, succession planning, education, and human resources responsibility. Provide direction, guidance, and disseminate information to the various teams. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Properly orchestrates department objectives toward successful performance to plan; including allocation efforts, focusing attention, insuring underwriting standards, etc. Assist the team in delivering well-structured solutions for the Regions and National Lines as well as the respective lines of business. Oversee the teams monitoring of client relationships. Provide oversight for the various groups loan requests consistent with Bancorp standards and provide necessary overages for ongoing maintenance of credit exposure as applicable. Work with the Asset Based Lending Line of Business and Product team to deliver a more streamlined solution for clients and prospective clients. Oversee the various teams go to market strategies as well as ongoing client satisfaction Assist with the development of expanded product solutions, market, and sales depth to aid the team in delivering revenue. Represent the Bancorp in term of high-level customer interaction as well as community affairs. Properly staff positions within areas of responsibility. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree required (MBA preferred, ideally with a concentration in Busines, Finance, or Accounting. Required 10+ years of Commercial Banking Experience. Track record of relationship management/account management experience. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required. The ability to manage and prioritize multiple task Conflict resolution skills. Credit underwriting and analytical skills required. Proven leadership and negotiation skills. WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like. Extended time at desk and/or viewing computer screen. Some travel required. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
