THE POSITION

Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things clean and tidy? We are seeking a motivated and reliable Custodial Worker 1! In this position, you will maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the Greene County Maintenance Office. Your efforts will contribute to a pleasant and welcoming environment for everyone who uses our facilities. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Your responsibilities will encompass routine cleaning tasks, including waxing, dusting, and polishing floors. You will also be responsible for cleaning the lavatories, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies and that waste is disposed of properly. Furthermore, you will attend to the exterior areas and entrances of the building, which will involve snow removal and sweeping the walkways. Your contributions will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
