Position Overview

The Principal Analyst, Laboratory Integration and Development - International position will play a key role in Exact Sciences' international growth strategy by assisting in the development and implementation of clinical laboratory operations. This role involves creating and executing operational solutions for international markets. The individual in this position will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on project teams, contributing to various initiatives within international laboratories. Additionally, the Principal will develop and execute integration strategies and phases for mergers and acquisitions involving clinical laboratory integration.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Apply strong knowledge of international business culture and can flex and adapt to other cultures.
  • Assist in designing and developing the operational aspects of molecular diagnostic and other clinical laboratory tests.
  • Develop and execute project plans and road maps.
  • Support and collaborate on innovation initiatives, such as automation and idea exploration, and propel concepts from ideal stage to execution.
  • Communicate effectively to engage and inspire a highly diverse organization and hold team accountable for results.
  • Work cross functionally with members across the organization, consultants, architects, and designers.
  • Leads and or oversees the movement of process, and technology between laboratories.
  • Demonstrate advanced business and technical writing skills.
  • Manage decisions through fact based, data driven metrics using the Decide, Advise, Inform (DAI) model.
  • Uphold exceptional ethics, unquestioned character, and absolute integrity.

  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

  • Work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
  • Travel between Exact Sciences locations as needed.
  • Travel 50% of working time, which may include overnight/weekend and international travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology, Life Sciences, or field as outlined in the essential duties.
  • 6+ years of experience within a laboratory setting with progressive responsibility.
  • 3+ years of experience with next generation sequencing.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results on cross-functional technical teams through cooperation with other functions and project teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to speak Japanese fluently
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in field as outlined in the essential duties.
  • 8+ years of experience within a laboratory setting with progressive responsibility.
  • Experience and/or professional working knowledge of the cancer care continuum and clinical menu.
  • Experience in laboratory startup, development, assay validations, and building codes.
  • Professional working knowledge of ISO 15189, ISO 17020, and ISO 17025.

Salary Range:

114000,00$ - 182000,00$

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
