Position Overview:
The Vice President, Transition & Customer Success will be responsible for driving, managing, and optimizing the company's global transition initiatives. The GTO VP will lead the execution of large-scale business transformations, overseeing the transition of complex projects, business processes, and strategic programs across multiple regions and functions. This individual will partner closely with senior leadership teams to ensure the alignment and successful execution of transitions in support of broader organizational goals.

Strategic Leadership & Vision:
  • Develop and lead the global transition strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to define the roadmap for major transitions, including business model changes, technology integrations, mergers & acquisitions, and process optimizations.
  • Champion the change management process, ensuring a smooth transition for all stakeholders involved.
Transition Program Management:
  • Oversee a portfolio of global transition projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Implement robust governance frameworks to monitor and evaluate the progress of transitions, providing strategic insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure the successful implementation of transition programs.
Operational Excellence:
  • Drive operational efficiencies across global teams, ensuring alignment and consistency in transition processes across regions and business units.
  • Develop and refine processes for effective resource allocation, team coordination, and project management throughout the transition lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and cost reduction while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
  • Act as a liaison between executive leadership, operational teams, and external partners to ensure clear, consistent communication throughout the transition process.
  • Lead the design and delivery of communication strategies to engage stakeholders at all levels and ensure alignment throughout the transition process.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, finance, and other departments to drive cross-functional collaboration and smooth transitions.
Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of transition managers and project leads, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on best practices for managing complex transitions, ensuring team members have the skills and resources to succeed.
  • Promote a diverse, inclusive, and innovative work environment that attracts top talent and promotes high-performance.
Performance & Metrics:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for all transition initiatives to measure effectiveness, impact, and value.
  • Monitor, track, and report on transition progress, ensuring results align with business goals and strategic objectives.
  • Drive accountability and transparency by presenting regular updates and reports to the executive team and key stakeholders.
What you will bring to the team:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations, Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
Experience:
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in global transition management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale transitions, including business transformation, technology integration, M&A activities, or operational restructuring.
  • Strong experience in leading cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, HR, finance, and external vendors.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to see the big picture and drive detailed execution.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams across global locations.
  • Expertise in change management, including the development and implementation of effective communication strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Fluent in working in a global, multi-cultural environment; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $200,000 - $240,000 plus bonus
