Title: Program Associate - MI Bridges $25.10 - $27.10 / Posted Thru: 5/1/2025 Location: Hybrid - Must Live and Work in Michigan Purpose: Reporting to the MI Bridges Manager in the Economic Stability Administration Technology Division, this position will work in concert with the MI Bridges team to support the functionality of, and improvements to, the MI Bridges platform through training, technical assistance, stakeholder feedback, and data review. Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Completion of a high school diploma or equivalency is required. A bachelor's degree in a relevant major is preferred. Educational or professional background in health, human services or software design/development preferred. Experience: Demonstrated experience in communication (particularly making technical language accessible to non-technology staff), document design, customer support, and data analysis and presentation. Experience working with government/public sector is a plus. Important Skills and Characteristics:
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: This position is hybrid; primarily work from home with approximately 1-2 days per month in the Lansing office. (If the State of MI requires, the position may demand more in-office time.) This position will require viewing a CRT or VDT screen 90% of the time. The position will require occasional physical effort, including lifting materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. The position requires a valid vehicle operator's license to attend off-site meetings, conferences and trainings. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORK OF OTHERS: This position will not be responsible for managing the work of other staff. Planning, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks is required; priorities may change quickly due to the needs of residents or leadership. This position will work as part of an inter-dependent team with shared goals but distinct responsibilities; we rely on each other for efficiency, effectiveness, and success. IMPACT ON PROJECTS, SERVICES AND OPERATIONS:This position has a direct impact on the quality of services provided by MPHI to MDHHS. This role will have direct contact MDHHS employees at multiple levels, regular contact with a diverse set of partner stakeholders, and occasional contact with MI residents. The quality of the work and the professionalism exhibited will directly affect the perception of MDHHS and MPHI among users and stakeholders. REQUIRED COMMUNICATION:
