*TEKsystems is currently interview candidates for a Business Analyst/Project Manager for a large retail client in the Columbus Ohio area. *
****** This role is ONLY open to candidates currently residing in Ohio, we do not offer any relocation ****** *Description* *Coordinate and prioritize all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, communication, execution and completion. oCreate and maintain Feature level project plan that identifies the activities required to complete the project along with activity dependencies and owners. oPartners with external implementors, to define dependencies and verify their progress to ensure the success for the project oRevise project plan as needed to maintain alignment with cross-impacted projects and business strategy. oLeverage JIRA tasks / details to track work and monitor progress. oEnsure complete understanding of business needs and processes. *Monitors and controls project scope, schedule, milestones, budget, and risk. oResponsible for internal and external resource management, budgeting and cost containment. oDevelop and control timelines, including regularly assessing and mitigating risks throughout the project by removing blockers and escalating issues oCollaborate across the teams to confirm resource availability, and maintain consolidated resource and timeline views across the program *Provide transparent communication to leadership on status, issues, risks, and required decisions across the program oLead project team meetings and clearly convey project goals and requirements. oCommunicate with stakeholders to bridge the "technology gap" by using terms and concepts familiar to stakeholders. oFacilitate team meetings to achieve an expected outcome and enable decision-making. This includes meeting preparation, capturing actions from meetings, and facilitating group activities (e.g., brainstorming, whiteboarding). oDefine, communicate, and manage dependencies across projects *Support clients Agile Transformation by understanding the Ways of Working and Agile Team roles and responsibilities oOversee delivery of defined business capabilities and value within the project scope *Qualifications:* *B.A./B.S. in Business, Engineering, or technical area preferred *Minimum of 8+ years' experience in technical project mgmt or consulting; retail experience a must, specifically in Supply Chain or Product Facing Systems (Sourcing, Planning, Inventory, Pricing, Merchandising) *Prior experience in a technical role (development, integrations, infrastructure, or operations). *Strong experience with JIRA *Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products *Strong business, leadership, planning and organizational skills *Proven experience in agile project management with multiple workstreams *Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and communication skills *Excellent facilitation and issue resolution skills; ability to drive consensus *Ability to work and deliver in a fast paced, changing environment with a presence to adjust to situations that could involve conflicting goals *Ability to collaborate and effectively manage a dispersed team and prioritize work *Display a leadership approach of Show Up, Team Up and Build Up to collaboratively drive work forward *Values relationship building, and employs a collaborative approach - Retail is preferred - Hybrid onsite Tuesday-Thursday *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
