The primary focus of the Network Engineer III is to provide leadership, planning, design, implementation, maintenance and support of Essential's network infrastructure. This position will also oversee and approve network design and solutions recommended by other staff engineers. The responsibilities include management of the following services: WAN/LAN network design/administration, virtualization, enterprise wireless, cloud architecture/design, SAN fiber, network load balancers, business continuity/disaster recovery and performance tuning/monitoring. The technologies supported include Cisco (ISE/Switches/Routers), Palo Alto (Firewalls and Panorama), Nexus, Avaya, Netmotion and F5. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Perform sedentary work- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
