Claremont, CA Job Posting Title: Summer Conference AssistantJob Description: PRIMARY PURPOSE/GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Summer Conference Assistant will assist staff and clients with various summer events. The position is scheduled for the summer season dates of May 28, 2025-July 31, 2025. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Previous experience in event or conference planning is highly preferred. LICENSES / CERTIFICATES: None. OTHER: HOURS & CLASSIFICATION AND STATUS: This is a temporary status, full-time (up to 40 hours per week), non-exempt, non-benefits eligible position. Hours will vary based on department needs. The expected dates of this assignment are May 28, 2025-July 31, 2025. Hourly pay rate: $16.50. The hourly rate of the individual selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, andtraining. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None.
