Manufacturing Engineer I

Danfoss is seeking a hands-on, project focused Manufacturing Engineer. If you are an experienced professional ready to bring forward your ideas, then Danfoss gives you the freedom to do so.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Determine process steps and flow to move from inputs to expected output
• Determine method to complete each process step (e.g., machine-based, people- based or combination)
• Provide and maintain tools to perform each process step (e.g., SOPs, tooling, training)
• Monitor and continuously improve processes to ensure expected output targets or implement corrective action
• Provide detailed data collection and analysis (time studies, material flow, waste analysis)

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• At least 4+ years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
• Able to be pro-active throughout the project process to deliver results and take ownership.
• Team player with the ability to cooperate on all levels of the organization (shop floor to management).
• Familiar with basic hand tools, sensors, vision and other common assembly operation equipment and components.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000- $85,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including role-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
