The National Sales Coordinator is a vital part of Mazak's Sales Administration team, helping drive machine sales from initial quotation through configuration, purchasing, revisions, and shipment. This in-office role works closely with Regional Sales Offices, Headquarters, and Manufacturing Plants to keep processes accurate, timely, and aligned across all departments. This is a dynamic and collaborative position that offers variety, visibility, and the chance to support Mazak's national sales success. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset. A basic knowledge of Mazak machines is helpful, and team members may also assist with regional outreach, training, and other areas of Sales Administration. Scope and Key Responsibilities: This role supports the entire sales administration lifecycle, from quotation to shipment, ensuring all machine orders are accurate, timely, and responsive to evolving market conditions like tariffs, shipping delays, or supply chain challenges. Key Responsibilities: * Process machine orders using Mazak I-quote, E-file, and Dynamics 365 (D365) systems. * Coordinate technical configurations, pricing accuracy, and clean handoffs across Sales, Engineering, Product Groups, and Distributors. * Analyze sales and accessory margins on incoming orders; flag inconsistencies or issues. * Support internal communication and provide updates or assistance to regional offices. * Generate reports on sales performance, inventory, forecasting, distributor activity, and aged stock. * Prepare reports for Mazak Japan headquarters and internal management. * Support monthly sales closing, which will require extended hours on closing day. * Cross-train in other Sales Admin functions to ensure business continuity. This is a collaborative, fast-paced role suited for someone who enjoys working across teams, thrives on solving challenges, and takes pride in keeping complex processes running smoothly. Education/Certification: * High school degree required. * A degree in business administration or a related field is preferred. * Equivalent experience will also be considered. Skills and Qualifications * Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across departments. * A positive, team-oriented individual who can adapt to changing priorities and support others. * A service mindset with a customer-first approach and professionalism under pressure. * Clear and professional communication with the ability to handle complex or sensitive situations. * High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, configuration, and reporting. * Investigative mindset, able to resolve issues by identifying root causes. * Proficiency with Microsoft business applications and willingness to learn other tools. * Prior experience in the machine tool or capital equipment industry is a plus.
