APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: We are recruiting for a Postdoctoral Scholar to work on the development of new diagnostic tools for herbicide resistance. This project is part of a larger collaborative effort among institutions spanning the eastern, southern, and northcentral U.S. regions. Key objectives include developing rapid diagnostic tools for herbicide resistance detection, establishing diagnostic standards, and discovering new herbicide resistance mechanisms for further diagnostic development. Responsibilities include:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in weed science, molecular biology, biotechnology, horticulture, biology, or a related field. A strong publication record, evidence of independent work, and ability to work in teams is expected. Skills in molecular biology, analytical chemistry, or -omics tools are a plus. This is a term position funded for one year from date of hire. The successful candidate will be recruited as soon as possible, but no later than early summer 2025.
