Job Description Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Shift Supervisor in Rhinelander, WI on the rotating shift schedule. This position will report to the Press Manager II. Minimum requirements: Five years (5) production experience Basic Microsoft computer skills Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, nights and weekends Preferred requirements: Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience Flexographic printing, press operator experience Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams Key Responsibilities: Manage the assigned shift by providing direction, coaching, administering performance reviews, and providing performance feedback to associates to ensure all of the plant goals in relation to safety, waste, quality, and productivity are achieved. Ensure that internal and external customer expectations are met. Oversee plant initiatives such as PPS and Food Safety. Supervise shift personnel in a manner that promotes a sense of fairness and high morale. Control operating costs. Perform job checkouts and make decisions regarding quality. Oversee the entire plant on any given shift as needed to ensure compliance to regulatory policies. Effectively facilitate and lead a team to achieve specific Plant Goals.
