DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerk 1, your responsibilities will include fostering communication, processing mail, maintaining accurate files, posting payments to accounts, preparing work orders for repairs, and receiving and directing phone calls and visitors. Work involves maintaining and updating accurate client information, routinely entering the information into a computer program. You will assist in verifying continuing resident eligibility during annual reviews, calculate rent amount based on income in compliance with HUD regulations, and clarify and respond to client inquiries regarding HUD rules and regulations in a timely manner. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Possession of the required knowledge and abilities.

- Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within McKean County. If no eligible candidates who live within McKean County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
