FT Fresh Regional Trainer - 6464

Essential Functions: * Conducts store visits to coach and develop department team members to achieve business results * Teaches team members how to properly execute the department Standards of Practice (SOP's) * Leads training classes, including specialized training for department as needed (e.g. new initiatives, Floral, Starbucks, Prepared Foods, etc.) * Assists with coaching and developing a team of high-performing Department Managers across the Region * Trains and develops GIANT Direct Selectors and Leads * Provides ongoing department expertise, direction, and training to Store Management and department staff * Collaborates with Sales Managers and Specialists to provide recommendations for building sales and developing talent to foster a culture of selling * Helps drive department KPIs and facilitates operational best practices for department * Partners with Sales Managers and Specialists to deliver financial KPIs for the product area including Sales, Gross Margin, Unit Movement, Shrink, and NPS * Identifies opportunity stores and contributes to development of turnaround plan * Researches and understands competitive landscape and market area * Leverages knowledge and expertise to assist Sales Manages and Specialist with building sales, analyzing problems, and identifying root causes of issues related to sales * Dedicates 4-5 weeks to new store openings and remodels to provide insights for Category teams; assists with setting up stores and serves as head of plan executionLeads communication to Sales Managers on format or display opportunities and assists with ordering and reviewing inventory of small wares and supplies for new store openings and remodels * Partners with Sales Managers and Specialists to ensure consistent execution of all merchandising programs, assuming responsibility for success and operational effectiveness of the department * Leads all project implementation for assigned locations * Communicates to Sales Manager feedback on initiatives and opportunities and provides direction and support to stores in delivering operational initiatives, customer service goals, and labor productivity for new programs and pilots.
