Saint Therese - IHM Senior Living is looking for LPNs to join our dedicated team! We provide a home for seniors who want to live in a place that has the full continuum of care - meaning residents can move into independent living and then as their care needs evolve, they can move to assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or stay in our short- term rehab center. We are a five-star facility licensed by Medicare and Medicaid and staffed by people who have the experience and passion to provide exceptional care. $5,000 Sign on Bonus!

Positions available include working every other weekend and every other holiday:



  • 2:00pm - 10:30pm Full-time (80 hours per two week pay period)
  • 2:00pm - 10:30pm Part-time (72 hours per two week pay period)


A Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for:



  • Providing direct care to residents under individual plans of care, administering care and medications per doctor's orders.
  • Administer medications and/or treatment in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
  • Document resident care using charting software.
  • Notify Nurse Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow-up action, as necessary.
  • Work to coordinate, oversee, and provide guidance to NARs,
  • Display a positive attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.


    Qualifications:



    • Degree obtained from an accredited nursing program.


    • Must be in good standing with the Michigan Board of Nursing and have a current MI LPN license.


    • Minimum of one-year previous experience as a nurse preferred but not required.


    Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:



    • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Proven history of good judgement and integrity
    • High level of commitment to compassionate customer service
    • Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident.
    • CPR Certification
