Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Act as the primary liaison between the company and OEM production customers, addressing product-related inquiries, tracing lost shipments, and clarifying customer orders for the shipping department.
  • Order Management: Handle customer orders via phone and web-based platforms, collaborate with management on customer credits, process returns, and identify quality assurance issues.
  • Stock Allocation: Exercise authority to approve stock allocations within negotiated contract terms or organizational guidelines.
  • System Access: Manage customer sales orders and supplier interactions by utilizing production and inventory management systems.
  • Internal Coordination: Facilitate internal communication and coordination with contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, and warehousing departments.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in customer service or client interface roles

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills
  • Experience with SAP
  • Willingness to work overtime and be available for on-call duties
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple functions and with diverse customer bases
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field
