Responsibilities The OHH LEAD, Release of Information Tech is essential in leading the secure and efficient release of patient information, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity. Will serve as a liaison between departments and external entities, driving efficiency and enhancing the quality of our services. Will help with education on any new updates or changes that effect ROI or their processes. Will perform all work according to the mission, vision and values of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Lead the Release of Information (ROI) team in processing requests for medical records Help develop and implement best practices for the ROI process to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Assist to develop and implement policies and procedures for the efficient handling of medical records request Train and mentor ROI techs on best practices in information release and management Maintain files and records in a confidential manner Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Experience working in a healthcare setting with familiarity in electronic health record (EHR) systems Working Knowledge: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Proficiency in electronic health record systems. Computer and 10 key required Every team member at OHH plays an integral role in our patients' experience.
