Position Summary: The Business Relationship Officer, Assistant Vice President or Vice President of Treasury Management is responsible for the development of new treasury management business, expansion of existing business relationships and servicing customers. Promotes all UBT products and services, prepares sales presentations, and assists in the design and installation of treasury management services. This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines up to one day per week upon completion of onboarding.

Essential Functions:



  • Develop of new treasury management business, the expansion of existing business relationships, and the servicing of customers.
  • Develop and contact prospects to develop new treasury management business.
  • Meet with existing customers to ensure proper servicing of accounts and to expand existing business relationships.
  • Promote investments in Short Term Federal Investment Trust accounts with support from Short Term Investment department.
  • Prepare sales presentations, explain services offered, and recommend those services which would be of value to the customer.
  • Coordinate/development of new services, modifications of existing services, development of a marketing strategy, establishment of sales objectives and relevant reporting.
  • Attend various committee meetings to assist in objectives and coordination of efforts as well as seminars, schools, and association meetings to stay informed on industry trends and new technology.
  • Assist Department Managers and TM Team with department goals setting, annual planning and project completion.
  • Support the bank's management philosophy and customer service goals.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, underwriting requirements, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Executive Management or Division Manager as required.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Candidate may also possess applicable banking experience related to the position.
  • Treasury Management experience preferred.
  • General bank experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and in working with other financial software.
  • Valid Nebraska driver's license.

Working Environment:

Sedentary work - lifting and/or carrying up to 10 lbs. occasionally.

Occasionally exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.

Some travel required.
