Summary:



The Program Manager, will support planning and execution of critical projects and programs that target opportunities in Visionwork's retail optical business. He/she will support aligning outcomes with the organization's key goals and objectives.



Pay Class and Pay




Pay Class: Full Time and Remote

Pay: $71,444.76 - $95,259.67 Annual Salary




Essential Responsibilities:




  1. Support and lead cross-functional teams defining technical and non-technical solutions that solve complex problems and drive value for the organization.
  2. Develop an understanding of Visionworks' optical business and serve as a POC for needed technical and non-technical solutions that solve problems.
  3. Support detailed research of OTX technology defects and enhancement requests that inform the creation of technology product documentation (User stories, process map, technical requirements, etc.)
  4. Support assigned programs and projects to deliver desired outcomes outlined by its stakeholders.
  5. Adopt process improvement and problem solving methodologies with supporting templates and structured approaches.
  6. Use measures to monitor progress of programs towards goals and objectives.
  7. Take a data-driven approach to solving problems identifying root cause and effects, followed by hypothesis testing.
  8. Participate or lead cross-functional task forces and projects in other areas of the business, as needed.



Education:



Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or related field. Preferred.



Experience & Background:




  • Five (3) + years experience leading programs and projects in cross-functional and matrixed project teams.
  • Three (1) + years experience overseeing and driving feature implementation within a technology product required.
  • One (1) + years experience working on teams that build technology tools and solutions that solve business problems.
  • Exposure and familiarity with formal process management problem solving tools like DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma, etc.
  • Experience in supporting analysis in a competitive business environment where strategic recommendations were made for an improved position in a dynamic and rapidly changing industry
  • Exceptional analytics and PowerPoint capabilities a must; high financial and business acumen also necessary
