Medical Assistant, Express Care (Weekend hours)

What is available:

• .8 FTE = 64 hours bi-weekly

• Shift: Every other weekend for Express Care and the other hours will help in Family Med and Vaccine in Onalaska to help cover vacancies/FMLA/sick calls, etc.

• Location: La Crosse and Onalaska, WI

What you will do:

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointments

• Update patient information in charting systems

• Take vitals

• Assist with Medication Refills between patients in our centralized refill center.

• Get hands on experience working on procedures with nurses and providers

• Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.

What you need:

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN

• Or

• High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification

• BLS for healthcare workers
