About the role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst, Commercial Finance to play a key role in driving financial insights and commercial performance across the business. This role will be responsible for analyzing key financial and operational metrics, managing lead indicator KPIs, overseeing commercial plan accruals, and supporting strategic decision-making to maximize profitability and growth. The Senior Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting, financial planning, and performance tracking.

Location: Morristown, NJ

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office 2 days from home)

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with commercial teams to analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth and margin improvement.
• Develop, monitor, and refine lead indicator KPIs to track commercial effectiveness and guide strategic initiatives.
• Manage bonus plan accruals, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and alignment with business objectives.
• Support the financial planning & analysis (FP&A) process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for commercial functions.
• Conduct scenario analysis and financial modeling to evaluate business opportunities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
• Drive commercial performance reviews, preparing insightful reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
• Enhance data-driven decision-making by leveraging advanced analytics and financial tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools (Excel, Power BI, SAP, or other ERP/BI platforms).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work cross-functionally with different teams.
