Base Compensation: $22/hr

Sterilization and Disinfection Control division manufactures and sells biological and chemical indicators that assess the effectiveness of sterilization and disinfection processes for pharmaceutical, healthcare, and dental industries.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for assembling and packaging biological indicators and tubed media following good documentation and verification practices. All work must be performed using company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and industry standards.

Duties/Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Model personal Lean Philosophy 5S behaviors in creating a continuously
* improving, clean, well-organized and self-maintaining work environment.
* Work closely with team members and others to motivate and improve 5S
* knowledge and implementation.
* Follow a continuous improvement approach for team accountability for
* achieving high performance SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, &
* Morale) targets through a visual work environment.
* Comply with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and best practices,
* with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing of diversity, and
* promotion of a harassment-free environment.
* Ability to respond to production concerns and timelines.
* Ability to follow SOPs and when appropriate provide continuous
* improvement feedback.
* Produce excellent documentation practices.
* Support production and packaging of tubed media.
* Support inspection, assembly, and packaging of liquid BI products.
* Comply with all safety and regulatory standards.
* Ensure all quality system requirements are met in execution of duties
* described above.
* Application of the Mesa Labs Quality Policy and actively monitor quality of
* outcomes in the performance of all assigned tasks
* Perform other duties as assigned by leads and management.

Experience/Education

* High school diploma or GED
* One to six months' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
* Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge and Skillsets Required

* Intermediate mathematical skills are needed to understand and execute the
* calculations that occur within the manufacturing environment, many of
* which use scientific or exponential notation, and log linear regression
* analysis.
* Basic Computer Skills including knowledge of word, excel, outlook and other
* programs are necessary for successful execution of this position.

* Ability to follow SOPs which includes maintenance of SOPs, when
* necessary.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stand or sit for extended periods of time.
