As a Racebook Cashier, you will play a key role in delivering an exciting experience to our guests by helping them place wagers on thrilling horse racing and sporting events from around the world. If you have a passion for sports and enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. THE STARTING RATE:$15.49 THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Process race and sports wagers, including ticket writing, verification, and payments, while following department policies and legal regulations. Manage a cash bank during your shift, ensuring correct payments and change. Keep your workstation stocked and tidy. Accurately pay out winnings and verify tickets. Reconcile your cash bank at the end of your shift, following proper cash-handling rules. Explain betting rules, odds, and procedures to guests. Create and track player cards. Protect customer rewards and monitor credit lines. Report any guest issues or suspicious activity to management.
