Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a full time Data Entry Operator I to support a DOD customer on-site at our Lexington Park, MD location.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule with 3 days on-site and is eligible for Compressed Work Schedule (CWS). Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

This position is not eligible for The MIL Referral Bonus program.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry using various applications
  • Perform quality control and track quality defects using a tracker
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize various tasks to complete deadlines
  • Conduct research and troubleshooting
  • Provide customer service
  • Maintain integrity and security of information added to all operating databases.
  • Perform special projects assigned by management.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills with management, team members, and customers
  • Demonstrate experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Read and conceptualize information using critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Multi-task with various applications while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Willing and able to cross-train in various tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work within recognized turn-around times
  • Must have outstanding social skills and the ability to organize simultaneous tasks
  • Ability to analyze and apply company policies and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both separately and within a group environment
  • Ability to remain organized, regard to information, follow guidelines, and multi-task in a professional and efficient way

Desired Qualifications

  • Data entry experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience completing tasks using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reference tools, and guidelines
  • Experience working with Microsoft applications such as Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Current secret clearance

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Clearance

All applicants for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.

Compensation

The SCA (Service Contract Act) role at The MIL Corporation is subject to the regulations and guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Labor. As an SCA position, it is classified as a service contract and is subject to specific wage determinations and benefit requirements mandated by the government.

The compensation and benefits for the SCA role at The MIL Corporation will be in accordance with the prevailing wage rates and benefits specified by the Department of Labor for the specific job classification and location. The current rate is $15.26 - $16.65 per hour. Final salary for this position is determined based on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, and contractual limitations.
