About the Role:

The Maintenance Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of properties within the Amira Choice Arvada community. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing tenant requests, and ensuring that all facilities are safe and well-maintained. The Maintenance Assistant will work closely with the property management team to identify areas needing attention and implement solutions promptly. By maintaining high standards of cleanliness and functionality, this role directly contributes to tenant satisfaction and retention. Ultimately, the Maintenance Assistant helps create a welcoming and comfortable living environment for all residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in maintenance or a related trade.
  • Experience in property management or real estate development.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems as needed.
  • Maintain common areas, including landscaping, cleaning, and ensuring proper waste disposal.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to schedule and execute preventative maintenance tasks.
