The Human Systems Division provides advanced performance, survival, and protection capabilities to US and allied air, ground, and naval forces. Human Systems manages development, production, and sustainment of human-centered systems such as aircrew life support, egress, survival, nuclear/biological/chemical defense, aeromedical/aeromedical evacuation equipment, medical information, testing/certification, AF uniforms, and aircraft mishap analysis.

The applicant shall assist in providing technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for overall weapons system.

Essential Job Functions:

The applicant shall assist in performing engineering activities to include defining system requirements, reviewing vendor designs and technical proposals, researching and developing technical solutions, performing systems functional analysis, conducting trade studies, conducting technical reviews, and performing test and evaluation activities.

The applicant shall coordinate with USG agencies, prototype facilities, commercial vendors, and engineering firms to conduct analyses. The applicant shall aid in creating engineering documentation and mechanical engineering analyses.

The applicant shall assist in identifying, managing, mitigating, and addressing technical and program architecture risks, including interoperability analysis and risk assessment. The applicant shall also provide support for the integration of current and evolving systems into the weapons system platforms.

The applicant shall provide engineering support involving the application of mechanical engineering principles to determine the business and technical needs of Mission Partners in the acquisition, development or sustainment of weapon systems, subsystems, support systems, equipment items, or an equivalent product.

The Contractor shall provide assistance in the assessment and evaluation of new state of the art concepts, technologies, policies, and processes for application to Training Systems Requirements Analysis (TSRA) and courseware development. The Contractor shall assist in planning, organizing, and supporting engineering efforts affecting TSRA and courseware development within a simulation environment.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, US Citizenship is required.

A Bachelor's degree plus 5 years or a Master's degree plus 4 years of experience is required.
