The Marketing Technology Manager (Systems and Data) is a leader within the Marketing Technology team and a key resource in the Marketing and Business Development department for the effective management and development of the firm's Client Relationship Management (CRM) System to grow demand and drive revenue. The successful candidate will be able to quickly assess the current portfolio of system capabilities and integrations and make recommendations for improvements impacting data quality and efficiency of data input/output. The ability to further understand the needs of the department and firm and evaluate & translate requests for functionality into viable solutions is a must. This person will manage a team of CRM Coordinators and a Specialist and work closely with our system developers to implement and support an overall systems/data strategy which it helps define. Collaboration with the Manager of Web & Digital Marketing to ensure resources, cross-functional support and priorities are aligned is essential for success.



Responsibilities

    Serves as the primary manager of the firm's CRM system and team with a focus on continuous improvement and enhancements to better meet the needs of the firm
  • Leads the Systems and Data team so as to raise the bar on quality control of technology and data; the CRM system has a wealth of data that needs continuous "cleaning" and that can power better, more strategic decisions at the firm with enhancements to our data strategy and reporting tools
  • Oversees a data strategy that ensures accuracy of data in the CRM (and related systems) while ensuring continuous improvement of the data and reports available
  • Leverages reporting tools such as Microsoft's Power BI (and others) to provide new and better ways for the firm to access data, with a goal of enhancing our ability to make strategy decisions and drive profits
  • Manages functionality, data, reporting, and enhancements to the firm's CRM system and data reporting systems for marketing and business development
  • Oversees and collaborates with others on cross-platform data integration (e.g., email, events, etc. with CRM) and usage to further enhance the value of systems
  • Understands all marketing technology platforms and assists with maintenance and enhancements to functionality and design, and with user support
  • Takes ownership for the system and technology team and implements and oversees technology processes for continuous improvement; leverages the firm's Asana system for managing workloads and evaluating needs of the firm and team


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of related experiencing including three (3) years of CRM administration required
  • Previous management experience required

Pursuant to the Illinois Equity Pay Act the salary range for this Chicago based position is between $124,800 - $187,300 and Pursuant to the Washington DC Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this Washington DC based position is between $135,800 - $203,700. These figures represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be determined based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley. #LI-Hybrid
