Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA), Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (1.0 FTE)

Gundersen Health System, based in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is currently recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our hospital-based Intensive Care Unit. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established team of 13 physicians and three advanced practice clinicians (APCs). This is a 1.0 FTE position working fourteen shifts per month with average 3-4 shifts per week; shifts are currently 12-hour shifts from 0600-1800 and 1800-0600. No call is required outside of scheduled shifts. Position offers the opportunity to care for both medical and surgical patients. APCs not experienced with bedside procedures will receive adequate training and supervision. All work will be hospital-based.
