Senior FP&A Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Pittsburgh. This role will play a key part in supporting both corporate and business segment financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, business partnership skills, and a continuous improvement mindset to help drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Main responsibilities:

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting



  • Collaborate with assigned central functions to lead and support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans;
  • Deliver insightful variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve forecasting accuracy;
  • Identify risks and opportunities within the forecast cycle and drive alignment across stakeholders.



Month-End Close & Financial Reporting



  • Support the month-end closing process by preparing analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries as needed;
  • Perform financial reviews and provide commentary on actual results versus forecast/budget;
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems and reports.



Process Improvement & Automation



  • Lead or support special projects aimed at improving process efficiency, financial systems usage, and reporting automation;
  • Drive best practices in FP&A processes and reporting frameworks.



Board and Executive Reporting



  • Support the preparation of board materials, investor decks, and executive-level reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.



General Responsibilities



  • Maintain and improve complex financial models used for forecasting, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis;
  • Assist in ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives as directed by leadership;
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Treasury, HR, Operations, and IT to ensure alignment and consistency in financial data;
  • Stay current with industry and market trends to provide forward-looking insights.



Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred;
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles;
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel;
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, OneStream, Power Query, Power BI, or similar tools);
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights;
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.



This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
