Responsibilities

The selected candidate will utilize requirements best practices and industry standards to assist the Requirements Lead in helping the customer organization move from a product/engineering centric model to mission driven model with product development cycles that are more agile, timely and responsive to mission needs. This will start with understanding the current organizational structure and governance and the development and management of a new process to solicit, track, triage, implement, and deploy future requirements for the organization. The SI will work closely with the Requirements Lead to craft discussions & interactions with external customers to gather new requirements that will be processed and ultimately delivered to the software development teams.



Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

    BA/BS and 8+ years of experience; Masters and 6+ years of experience; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Clearance: TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
  • Prior experience and fundamental knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle
  • Requirements gathering experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience and knowledge of best practices & processes for managing mission/operational level requirements (collect, track, triage, validate, prioritize, translate) for an organization comprised of both operations and engineering elements
  • Experience with designing and implementing new processes
  • Governance setup and Support
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
  • Experience leading/assisting organizational change
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with confidence and expertise to help guide and drive organizational change (not just facilitate it)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with using JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience using requirements management tools
  • Some basic knowledge of RF

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
