TSC is seeking an experienced Quality Compliance Specialist to join our team in Huntsville, AL (Voyager) supporting the Radar & Precision Weapons Development Operation. This position will be responsible for processes such as but not limited to internal auditing, corrective action, and supplier quality to support hardware development and production activities. This position prefers an individual who promotes continual improvement; and can perform at high-levels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As part of the Quality team, other quality duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities:

Internal Auditing & Compliance

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with AS9100 and internal requirements.
  • Develop and manage the annual audit schedule and plans.
  • Interview employees, collect objective evidence, and document findings.
  • Initiate and track corrective actions for non-conformances.
  • Support departments in resolving compliance issues and implementing improvements.
  • Maintain audit reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Ensure internal auditors receive proper training.

Corrective Action & Non-Conformance Management

  • Review, issue, and track Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
  • Support root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Evaluate CAR extension requests and maintain related records and metrics.
  • Generate monthly CAR status reports.

Supplier Quality Management

  • Conduct annual supplier performance evaluations and review quality submissions.
  • Maintain supplier records and ensure adherence to quality requirements.
  • Issue and track Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
  • Perform supplier on-site assessments and document findings.
  • Review GIDEP notifications for unauthorized supplier purchases.

Quality Process Oversight

  • Support proposal quality reviews and manage deviation request processes (MRN, PDR, TDR).
  • Publish a quarterly Quality Newsletter.
  • Develop and improve internal procedures and work instructions.

Training & Development

  • Assist in creating process training materials and new employee training plans.
  • Identify training gaps and maintain training logs and records.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant quality experience.
  • Hands-on experience in an AS9100 Quality Management System.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Knowledge of IPC and J-STD manufacturing standards.
  • Experience providing technical oversight or resolving issues at supplier sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience maintaining company records in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and maximize productivity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, planning and communication skills
