Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join their team in a school setting, supporting children with disabilities ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in screening, identifying, assessing, diagnosing, treating, and recommending services for students with motor skill delays or disabilities. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct evaluations to assess students' motor skills and functional abilities.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with each student's IEP goals.

- Collaborate with families and other professionals to provide comprehensive support.

- Maintain accurate documentation regarding services provided and students' progress.

- Supervise and delegate tasks to physical therapist assistants as needed.

- Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' needs and goals.

Qualifications:

- Valid New York State Physical Therapist license required.

- Prior experience working in a school setting and with children is preferred.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- A passion for enhancing the lives of children with disabilities.
