About The Job
The Business Operations Analyst is a key contributor to the Business Operations Group, providing essential support to our financial systems, especially Deltek Vantagepoint, to ensure smooth operations within accounting and finance teams.

This role is ideal for a professional with Deltek Vantagepoint experience who excel at managing ad hoc and support requests, drafting process documentation, and executing system tests to maintain efficient financial operations.

The mission of the Business Operations Group is to deliver scalable, integrated solutions that empower our Practices and Firmwide Services teams to maximize revenue and operational efficiency through streamlined financial and operational processes.

Duties and Responsibilities (may include some or all of the below):
* Deliver first-line functional support for core financial systems, with a strong emphasis on Deltek Vantagepoint, ensuring that data integrity and reporting standards are maintained.
* Act as the liaison between accounting teams and support functions, utilizing platforms such as Freshservice to track and analyze support requests.
* Assist in creating and maintaining financial reports and dashboards that support month-end closing, financial planning, and operational analysis.
* Work collaboratively with finance and accounting stakeholders to streamline financial processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting.
* Manage ad hoc requests and system enhancements by gathering business requirements and drafting detailed process documents and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Conduct thorough testing of system fixes and upgrades, ensuring that solutions meet the required financial and operational criteria before deployment.
* Serve as a point of contact for user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex cases to ensure rapid resolution.
* Assist in training end users and creating documentation that promotes system adoption and operational efficiency.
* Support continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for system and workflow enhancements.
* Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to financial systems, reporting, and process optimization.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* 1-3 years of experience in Deltek Vantagepoint support, financial systems analysis, or a similar role - ideally with exposure to financial reporting tools and project-based ERP systems.
* Demonstrated ability to manage support requests, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with various stakeholders.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess business needs and propose practical solutions.
* Proven communication skills, both verbal and written, with the aptitude to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
* Experience with Freshservice or similar support ticketing platforms.
* Familiarity with reporting tools and data visualization platforms.
* As a federal contractor, successful candidates are required to pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment: pre - employment drug test and background check.

  • This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
  • This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.

Proposed Salary Range: $80,000-$97,000
*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
